Once you have selected the style of winter cover solid or mesh you will want to review the cover size.
For example if you have a 12 round pool the cover size will be 16 round.
Make certain to include the step section in your measurements if they extend past the pool.
The solar blanket should be cut 3 to 5 cm over the edge of your pool and up the tiles take care that it remains below the rim of the pool.
You want to cut it about 1 smaller than the pool on all sides so it floats on the water surface.
Measure the size of the pool.
Two sizes will usually be displayed on the item page the pool size and cover size.
You can also cut tabs that will fit into your skimmers.
Your cover will float on the pool surface with the edges curved up the tiling creating a dish like effect preventing any debris from entering the pool.
A pool cover will obviously help protect the water from the sun when the pool is not in use cutting down on the amount of chlorine you need to add each week.
Select cover based on your pool size.
If it is too big to handle and you don t use a cover reel you can cut the cover into smaller sections and put them on the pool individually.

Once you have the cover centered over the pool covering all the water and evenly stretched over the pool carefully cut the cover around the perimeter of the pool cutting right up against the coping to make sure there won t be any gaps between the cover and the pool wall when it is lying on the water.
The more area that is covered the better.
